Launch of Informa Family Office Forum

I’m happy to announce the launch of Informa’s Family Office Forum.

Informa is a £2.4bn publicly traded international events, intelligence and scholarly research company, which owns SuperReturn, FundForum, RiskMinds, WealthManagement.com, and numerous other brands.  Informa produces over 1,000 events per year, including such past speakers as Leon Black, Steve Pagliuca, David Rubenstein, and Stephen Schwarzman. This is their first-ever initiative targeted to family offices and families of multigenerational wealth.  Our working definition is: families who have invested at least $50m into funds in the last two years or who hold at least $200m in funds, business or real estate.

The inaugural NextGen Family Office Forum will be held soon; details to come.  The event will consider three main themes, although we welcome suggestions for additional ones:

  •   Transition & Succession: Integrating Goals Across Generations
  •   Investment Strategy: Long vs. Short-Term Goals
  •   The Evolution of Family Office

Who Can Attend?

The NextGen Family Office Forum will be a highly-gated event.  It is open exclusively to the next generation of multi-generational wealth families.  There will be a small number of others in attendance (less than 5%) who fall outside this category, exclusively event sponsors and advisory board members. All tickets are complimentary except for sponsors.

How can I get involved?

  • Nominate an impactful speaker or idea for a panel (with suggested speakers).
  • Nominate a member of our Advisory Board.
  • Share this event with attendees from relevant background.
  • Share feedback on our draft agenda.

Contact me if you want to get involved.  Disclosure: I am an Advisor to Informa, acting as Chair of Family Office Forum, not an employee.
