SXSW charity push-up competition, Sunday 1-2pm, Austin TX

2013 David-Teten-flag
Michael Gold challenged Jeff Pulver and me to a pushup contest for charity on stage at SXSW.  This rapidly escalated to a full-fledged Indiegogo campaign.

So: Come challenge Ryan Armbrust, me, and some other team members Sunday 1-2pm at the ff MASSIVE pavilion,  Empire Control Room & Garage (606 E 7th St, Austin, TX) Sunday, March 9!

Anyone can attend the parties and panels at ffMASSIVE.com.  You can also challenge your friends anytime during ff MASSIVE to compete with our Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots.  However, if you’d like specifically to compete in the pushup contest, please make a donation to our Indiegogo campaign.

All proceeds are going to Virtual Enterprises International.  VEI is an in-school, live, global business simulation that offers students a competitive edge through project-based, collaborative learning and the development of 21st-century skills in entrepreneurship, communication, personal finance, and technology.  Drawing on the European tradition of apprenticeships, this experiential learning model is part of a global network of student-run businesses in over 40 countries.   VEI is now active in more than 500 US schools and is scaling quickly.
