Empire Space is a non-profit organization serving as the research and networking hub for New York’s space economy. As Co-Founders, we are incredibly proud of the dynamic organization we have built and the work we’ve accomplished. Much of our success is due to the guidance and insights provided by Carol Teten. Carol was our first advisor and mentor as we started on our journey, and has been instrumental to our success. She is insightful, approachable, and instructive.
Conversations with her brought us greater ease and confidence in our uncertain early days. As our organization has grown Carol has supported us along the way, each meeting offering a new perspective on a pressing challenge, or a friendly reminder about a task that had gone neglected. Even though her background and our mission don’t share much overlap, she has been a steadfast champion and teacher and Empire Space would not be the organization it is today without Carol.
